KZN Boys Softball

Congratulations to 2 of our learners who have been selected for the KZN Boys Softball Squad. Jared Wium & Bevan Merrick were both selected in the U17 age group. 

1st Team Cricket Boys On A High

The 1st team have found their groove this season with 2 wins in 2 matches so far, beating Kingsway by 3 wickets & Creston College by 36 runs. Keep it up boys!

SA Junior Surfing Champs

The September holidays saw 3 of our learners, who had qualified for the event, compete in the SA Junior Surfing Champs in Jeffrey's Bay, Chanelle Botha, Koby Oberholzer & Brody Rudling. Both Chanelle & Koby made it through to the finals with Chanelle finishing 3rd overall & Koby finishing 2nd. They have both been included in the South African Junior Surfing Squad. Congratulations to them both.

KZN Girls Softball

Congratulations to 3 of our learners who have been selected for the KZN Girls Softball Squad. Courtney Hove in the U15 age group & Tanner-Rae VanDenBerg & Katie Dawe in the U17 age group.

Body Boarding Achievement

Congratulations to Reece Mason, Aaron Brandt & Travis VanWyk who represented the CKZN Body Boarding Team at the SA Champs recently. They were the overall winners of the competition. Well Done boys! A great achievement! 

Amazulu Soccer Squad Member 

Bradley Tagat, a former pupil of Amanzimtoti High School, has recently been selected for the Amazulu Soccer Squad. A great achievement from an outstanding young man!

Proud Ambassador

Chanelle Botha has once again represented the school at the highest level. She competed at the Kommetjie Billabong Series (Surfing). She placed 4th in the U20 division & has been selected to represent the Association of Surf Professionals at the Junior World Championships in Portugal. She is one of two females & five males selected. Well Done Chanelle! 

KZN Leos

Sharmaine Kwela & Mariska Viljoen were selected to represent KZN Leos in JHB this past weekend. They formed part of the Special Olympics tenpin bowling team. Both ladies were outstanding representatives. Mariska Viljoen has been further selected to represent South Africa at the Special Olympics in New York during July 2015. Congratulations to her. We know she will make us proud.

Choir Evening

A very successful Choir Evening was held on Thursday last week with all 3 local High Schools' choirs participating. The evening featured the KZN Youth Wind Band who were fantastic. If you attended this evening I'm sure you will agree that it was a most entertaining evening with some great, talented youngsters being showcased.
